Dr Bojana Jankovic
Dr Bojana Janković is an artist and researcher navigating spaces between performance, participation and migrant rights, and exploring migrancy as a method and a practice. Her performances, installations, texts, and non-denominational works have appeared in physical and digital spaces around Europe, including in Tate Modern (London), Center for Art on Migration Politics (Copenhagen), and in collaboration with Home Live Art (Hastings) and Performing Arts Hub (Norway).
Prior to joining IADT Bojana was a Lecturer in Contemporary Performance Practice at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She has contributed to research projects on migrant activism, audience development and politics of translation and was previously a Research Associate at the Centre for Contemporary Art in Derry. Her current project, Shared Migrants, explores migrant experiences of the ‘Irish border’
