As Ireland’s campus for the Creative Industries, the Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT) has a specialist and unique mandate as a ‘Centre of Excellence’ for the creative, cultural and technological sectors. IADT’s distinctive areas of expertise include Animation, Cyberpsychology, Creative Computing, AR/VR, Immersive Media Technologies, Gaming/Digital, 3D Design, UI/UX, Spatial, Environmental Design, Design Thinking and Artistic Research, amongst others.


IADT is also home to some of Ireland’s cutting-edge facilities such as the flagship National Film School, Virtual Production facilities, two Dolby Atmos Studios.


As a pillar institution in the European University for film and screen media and FilmEU, we intend to strengthen our focus on supporting enterprises within the creative industry sectors, particularly at microenterprise and SME levels.
