IADT recently welcomed EGG Post Production’s Drew Banerjee and Trinity College Dublin’s Anil Kokaram to the Immersive Studio for discussions on how creative and technical expertise can drive innovation in Ireland’s screen and immersive sectors. The visit opened promising avenues for collaboration across virtual production, VFX, technical arts education, and creative technology infrastructure. These conversations highlight how the TU RISE Elevate programme is supporting IADT in building partnerships that connect creative practice with emerging technologies, strengthening the future of the creative industries.
IADT Dún Laoghaire’s Innovate Lab hosted a Brand Discovery Workshop for SMEs, led by digital marketing expert Eva Perez. Participants explored brand purpose, identity, and digital storytelling, leaving with practical tools and insights to apply immediately. The workshop, part of the TU RISE Elevate Programme, supports small businesses in adopting new technologies, strengthening digital skills, and fostering creative problem-solving.
IADT Dún Laoghaire hosted a full-day TU RISE Elevate workshop with partners from Met Éireann, RWE, the Digital Repository of Ireland, and Wove, facilitated by UIIN. Participants collaborated across disciplines to develop impact-focused projects aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, exploring pathways for real-world change. Through interactive sessions, teams co-created ideas that blend creativity, technology, and societal need. The workshop marks an important step in strengthening a culture of collaboration and impact across IADT and beyond.
