Driving Impact Together: TU RISE Elevate Workshop at IADT
Bringing Ideas to Life Through Hands-On Co-Creation and Interdisciplinary Insight
Yesterday, IADT Dún Laoghaire welcomed colleagues from across departments - and from partner organisations Met Éireann, RWE, the Digital Repository of Ireland, and Wove - for a full-day TU RISE Elevate workshop facilitated by UIIN.
Together, participants explored how interdisciplinary collaboration can drive real-world impact by developing impact projects aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals - from climate action and wellbeing to inclusive education and sustainable cities.
Through hands-on activities, teams mapped their impact pathways, identified shared challenges, and co-created project ideas that connect creativity, technology, and societal need.
This workshop forms part of our ongoing work under TU RISE Elevate to build a culture of collaboration and impact across Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology and beyond, empowering academics to turn ideas into meaningful change.
A huge thank-you to our facilitators Todd Davey and Rimante Rusaite and co-creator Balzhan Orazbayeva of UIIN. Many thanks to all participants for their energy, creativity, and openness to new ways of working. We look forward to supporting the emerging projects through to impact.
Last week, IADT Dún Laoghaire had the pleasure of contributing to the Sandyford Business District Strategic Network Group, held in the new Polestar Dublin showroom.
Showcasing how the TU RISE IADT Elevate Programme is driving enterprise, innovation, and high-impact collaboration.
