From Planning to Profiling: Tools for Research Excellence at IADT

CRiT: IADT’s Creative Research Impact Toolkit

CRiT is IADT’s Creative Research Impact Toolkit, developed through Elevate to help researchers plan, communicate, and demonstrate the real-world value of their work.
It provides practical resources, examples, and frameworks to support every stage of the research process, from defining project goals and planning for impact, to dissemination and identifying funding opportunities.

CRiT is a living and dynamic resource that will continue to evolve in alignment with IADT’s creative and interdisciplinary ethos and with national and international frameworks including Impact 2030, the HEA Principles of Good Practice, and Horizon Europe.

For questions or suggestions about CRiT, please contact Dorota Żurek at

Pure: Showcasing IADT’s Creative and Applied Research

Under Elevate, IADT is expanding its use of Pure, the institutional research information system, to enhance visibility, collaboration, and impact.

Researchers are supported to develop rich research and engagement profiles that capture projects, outputs, exhibitions, creative works, and partnerships, ensuring IADT’s research is accessible nationally and internationally.

Pure also underpins data-informed planning and showcases the full spectrum of IADT’s creative, academic and applied research to external stakeholders, funders, and collaborators.

For questions or suggestions about Pure, contact Marie O’Neill Maher at researchoffice@iadt.ie.
