Marie O’Neill Maher

Marie O’Neill is the Professional Research Systems Officer at IADT with responsibility for the Pure research management system. She has over thirty years of experience in librarianship, having worked in the libraries of various institutions such as IADT, King’s Inns, Technological University Dublin, University College Dublin, the Oireachtas, and Dublin Business School. Marie is the originator and co-founder of the MSc in Information and Library Management at Dublin Business School which is accredited by the Library Association of Ireland.

 

Marie has a particular interest in research support services. She is a member of the Executive Board and an Editor of the All-Ireland Journal of Higher Education (AISHE-J). Marie is currently pursuing a part-time PhD in Librarianship at University College Dublin, focusing on open-access scholarly publishing.

The TU RISE IADT Elevate Programme hosted an XR Design Sprint bringing together enterprises and creative practitioners to explore real-world applications of immersive technologies through collaborative, hands-on innovation. Over five days, participants developed early-stage concepts across education, culture and creative industries, supported by design thinking and industry expertise.
