Dorota Zurek

Dorota Zurek is a dedicated Research Officer at the Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT). Originally from Poland, she holds a Master of Science in Political Science and has pursued further education through postgraduate courses, including a Diploma in Financial Advice from University College Dublin (UCD) and a specialization in strategy at Harvard Business School Online.

 

With extensive experience in digital transformation, digital health solutions, and project management, Dorota has a strong track record in the information technology and financial services sectors. She has spent eight years in the (re)insurance industry, driving innovation and efficiency.

 

Beyond her professional career, Dorota is deeply passionate about research and creating meaningful impact. She serves on the Advisory Board of the National Disability Authority (NDA), where she applies her expertise in strategy with a compassionate approach particularly advocating for families with children who have disabilities.

The TU RISE IADT Elevate Programme hosted an XR Design Sprint bringing together enterprises and creative practitioners to explore real-world applications of immersive technologies through collaborative, hands-on innovation. Over five days, participants developed early-stage concepts across education, culture and creative industries, supported by design thinking and industry expertise.
