TU RISE Elevate Supports Partnerships that Bridge Creative Practice and Emerging Technologies
It was a pleasure to welcome Drew Banerjee of EGG Post Production and VFX and Anil Kokaram of Trinity College Dublin, to IADT Dún Laoghaire’s Immersive Studio last week.
Discussions centred on how creative and technical expertise can intersect to drive innovation in Ireland’s screen and immersive sectors – from virtual production and motion capture to AI-enhanced VFX pipelines and future skills development.
The visit sparked exciting possibilities for collaboration between IADT, EGG and TCD building on shared interests in:
· Bridging engineering and creative practice
· Developing teaching and micro-credential pathways in technical arts
· Exploring joint innovation opportunities in virtual production, automation, and creative technology infrastructure
· Collaborative virtual production
