Eurofound’s 50th anniversary Alumni Event
The TU RISE IADT Elevate Programme was honoured to take part in celebrating Eurofound’s 50th anniversary Alumni Event on 18 June.
IADT Dún Laoghaire President David Smith delivered an inspiring address, highlighting the critical role of EU and Eurofound in addressing some of the most pressing issues affecting people and businesses across the EU and assisting in the fostering of the creative arts sector and driving community engagement in Dublin.
In collaboration with FilmEU – European University and the Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology International Office, the TU RISE IADT Elevate Programme proudly funded an exhibition featuring standout IADT student work. Fifty exceptional pieces from the On Show graduate exhibition were selected for Eurofound’s commemorative showcase, Living and Working in Europe, celebrating five decades of shaping stronger social policies across the EU.
Led by Dr Rachel Clarke, the Elevate Programme team, along with IADT staff and students, attended this memorable event. We look forward to deepening our collaboration with Eurofound in the future.

Building Entrepreneurial Skills Through The IADT Student Accelerator Programme
The TU RISE IADT Elevate Programme hosted an XR Design Sprint bringing together enterprises and creative practitioners to explore real-world applications of immersive technologies through collaborative, hands-on innovation. Over five days, participants developed early-stage concepts across education, culture and creative industries, supported by design thinking and industry expertise.
