Showcasing IADT’s Elevate Programme on the Global Stage
At this week’s UIIN Conference in Amsterdam, Rachel Gallagher, Enterprise & Innovation Manager at IADT Dún Laoghaire, and Dr. Mike Glennon, Industry Engagement Officer, showcased how the TU RISE IADT Elevate Programme is driving enterprise, innovation, and high-impact collaboration.
Rachel presented an innovative suite of entrepreneurship programmes designed to equip students from the creative industries with practical skills and pathways to explore entrepreneurship.
Mike’s poster presentation highlighted a range of industry-academic initiatives developed through Elevate – enabling technology adoption, fostering cross-sector collaboration, and supporting innovation-driven partnerships.
The conference brought together a global community to explore the theme Reimagining Universities for Talent, Innovation and Impact. A big thank you to UIIN for hosting a fantastic forum to connect, share knowledge, and inspire new ideas.

Building Entrepreneurial Skills Through The IADT Student Accelerator Programme
The TU RISE IADT Elevate Programme hosted an XR Design Sprint bringing together enterprises and creative practitioners to explore real-world applications of immersive technologies through collaborative, hands-on innovation. Over five days, participants developed early-stage concepts across education, culture and creative industries, supported by design thinking and industry expertise.
